Meet Yona

The band's drummer, leader, and its founder, Yona Yakobovitz composes and arranges the majority of Tofaah's music.

She has been studying drums and percussion from the age of five and playing the piano from age six. After getting her degrees in music and education, she moved to Israel in 1981 from Saratoga Springs, New York.
